Fort Collins has had many awards and accolades heaped upon it in the last few years. Money Magazine’s Number 1 place to live, then voted to the top 3 again the following year, one of the most underrated cities in the west by Life.com, and 9th best place to invest in real estate in America by Business 2.0. The newest award we’ve received is to be honored on Money’s Top 25 Cities to Retire. The fact that we are a college town only helps us, with a relatively young population. But, 24 percent of our population is over 50 according to Money, so there are a lot of activities and plenty of entertainment for our retired population.
