Fort Collins Board of REALTORS Installation Party

Me and My Much Better Looking Half!

Me and My Much Better Looking Half!

Good morning! I wanted to inform you that as of last Thursday, I was installed as the Chair of the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS. I look forward to the next year of representing REALTORS and homeownership rights on a local, state, and national level in my new position. I also want all of you to know that I will be just as available to all of my real estate clients needing help buying and selling homes, I’m just going to be working some later nights!

I have spent the last year as the Chair Elect for the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS, and during that time I have been able to build my network of REALTOR partners around the country, and that has been directly beneficial for my clients. I can provide high quality referrals if you are looking to purchase outside of Fort Collins, and have access to listings and opportunities for my clients before other brokers just by building these relationships.

I look forward to protecting your housing rights and future in Fort Collins, as well as continuing to find and sell homes for all of my awesome clients! If you have any questions or just want to grab lunch, give me a call and we can get together!

Representing Property Rights On A National Level!

FCBR Leadership Representing Your Property Rights!

FCBR Leadership Representing Your Property Rights!

I just got back from a long week in Washington D.C. where I attended the National Association of REALTORS mid-year legislative meetings on behalf of the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS. It was pretty exciting to get to meet with our Senators and Representatives and talk about the issues that will be affecting your purchases and sales of your homes in the future.

It was good to hear that candidates on both sides of the aisle are going to make the Housing market a priority in the coming years. Being able to advocate for keeping the 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange option, Mortgage Debt Relief, and keeping Depreciation Recapture rates lower made me feel like our local issues are at least being discussed at much higher levels!

There was also a lot of discussion about the new Minimum Standards that the National Association of REALTORS will be adopting. This will make it even more beneficial for the consumer to work with a REALTOR as opposed to a non REALTOR licensee since the experience and level of service is so much higher with a REALTOR.

I would love to talk with you more about some of these issues and how they will affect you and your real estate deal, so CONTACT ME and we can setup some time to meet!
